மூடஸ்ததா ஸம்சிநுதே தனானி தாதா ச போக்தா ச பரோஸ்தி தஸ்ய ||
பொருள் :
நிலத்தில் சிந்தியிருக்கும் தான்யங்களை ஓரிடத்தில் குவித்து வைக்கப் பயன்படும் விளக்குமாற்றுக்கு
அந்த தான்யங்களால் பயனேதும் இல்லை, தான்யங்களை உண்ணப்போவது யாரோ!
அதுபோல், கால் ரூபாய், அரை ரூபாய், ஒரு ரூபாய் என்று முடிந்த வகையில் எல்லாம்
கஞ்சத்தனம் செய்து பணத்தை சேமித்து வைக்கும் மூடனான கருமிக்கும் அந்த தனத்தால் பயன் ஏதுமில்லை,
அவன் பணத்தை வேறெவனோ அனுபவிக்கப்போகிறான். எனவே கருமிக்கும் விளக்குமாற்றுக்கும் பேதமில்லை.

ஒரு முறை நாரதருக்கு ஒரு சந்தேஹம் எழுந்து ஶ்ரீமந் நாராயணனிடம் கேட்டாராம்:
"ஸ்வாமி, நல்லோருடைய இணக்கம் அல்லது நெருக்கம் நன்மை பயக்கும் என்று சொல்கிறார்களே
அது எந்த அளவுக்கு உண்மை"? என்று.
நாராயணன் கூறினாராம்:
"இந்தக் கேள்வியை எதிரில் தெரியும் காட்டில் மலத்தில் ஒரு புழு நெளிந்துகொண்டிருக்கிறது
அதனிடம் கேளும்" என்றாராம்.
நாரதர்:- "ஸ்வாமி கேள்விக்கான பதிலை நீங்கள் கூறாவிட்டாலும் பரவாயில்லை
என்னை அந்த மலத்தில் நெளியும் புழுவிடம் சென்று கேட்கும்படிச் சொல்கிறீர்களே நியாயமா"? என்றாராம்.
"விஷயமாகத்தான் சொல்கிறேன் சென்று கேளும்" என்றாராம் நாராயணன்.
நாராயணனின் சொல்லைத் தட்டமாட்டாமல் நாரதர் அந்தப் புழுவிடம் சென்று கேட்டார்
"புழுவே நல்லவர்களின் நட்பு நன்மையைத் தரும் என்று சொல்கிறார்களே ..." என்று கேட்டுக் கொண்டிருக்கும்போதே
அந்த புழு செத்துவிட்டது.
நாரதர் நாராயணனிடம் வந்து நடந்ததைக் கூற, நாராயணன்
"அந்த கிராமத்தில் உள்ள ஒரு அந்தணன் வீட்டில் பசு ஒன்று கன்றை ஈன்றுகொண்டிருக்கிறது
அந்தக் கன்றிடம் சென்று கேளும்" என்றாராம்.
நாரதர் அந்தக் கன்றிடம் சென்று அதையே கேட்க கன்றும் இறந்துவிட்டது.
நாரதர் நாராயணனிடம் வந்து, "ஸ்வாமி இந்தக் கேள்வியின் கனத்தை அந்த புழு, கன்று இரண்டாலும்
தாங்க முடியாமல் இறந்துவிட்டன, என்னை ஏன் இப்படிப்பட்ட பாவத்துக்கு ஆளாக்குகிறீர்"? என்றார்.
நாராயணன் "இந்த ஊர் ராஜாவுக்கு குழந்தை பிறக்க இருக்கிறது அந்தக் குழந்தையிடம் சென்று கேளும் என்றாராம்"
நாரதருக்கு வந்தது கோபம், "ஸ்வாமி இதுவரை நடந்ததாவது பாவத்து:டன் போகும்,
ராஜாவின் குழந்தை இறந்துபோனால் என் கதி என்ன ஆகும்? என்னை ஏன் இப்படி இம்சிக்கிறீர்!
எனக்கு அந்தக் கேள்விக்கு விடையே தெரியவேண்டாம் என்னை ஆளை விடும்" என்று ஓடப் பார்த்தார்.
நாராயணர் அவரை விடவில்லை, அவசியம் சென்று கேட்கும்படி ஆணையிட்டுவிட்டார்.
நாரதரும் சென்று யாருக்கும் தெரியாத ரூபத்தில் அந்தக் குழந்தையிடம் மெதுவாகக் கேட்டார்
"சிசுவே, நல்லவர்களுடனான நட்பு ..... " குழந்தையின் நாடியைப் பிடித்துப் பார்த்தார் பின் தொடர்ந்தார்
"நல்லவர்களுடனான நட்பு நன்மையைத் தரும் என்று சொல்கிறார்களே, செத்துக்கித்துப் போயிடாதே,
கேள்விக்கு பதில் சொல்லாட்டாலும் பரவாயில்லை, தெரிஞ்சா பதில் சொல்லு" என்று உதறலுடன் கேட்டு முடித்தார்.



அந்தக் குழந்தை பதில் சொன்னதா செத்துப்போனதா?
பதில் சொல்லியிருந்தால் என்ன சொல்லியிருக்கும்?
செத்துப்போயிருந்தால் நாரதருக்கு என்ன ஆகியிருக்கும்?
நாராயணர் நாரதருக்கு என்ன பதில் சொல்லியிருப்பார்?
கொஞ்சம் யோசித்து பதிலை பதிவு செய்யுங்களேன்
நான் நாளைக்கு என் பதிலை (அதாவது நாராயணர் சொன்ன பதிலை) எழுதுகிறேன்.

குறிப்பு:- படிப்பவர்களிடமிருந்து சில வார்த்தைகளைப் பிடுங்க இதைத் தவிர வேறு வழி தெரியவில்லை,
அப்படியும் சில "கல்லுளி மங்கர்கள்" என்ன சொன்னாலும் பதில் போடுவதில்லை.

பொருள் :
தனக்கு உபகாரம் செய்தவரிடத்து நல்லவராயிருப்பது உயர்ந்த குணமல்ல.
தனக்கு தீங்கிழைத்து பகைமை பாராட்டுபவனிடத்தும் நல்லோனாயிருக்கையே மிகஉயரிய குணம்.

திருவள்ளுவர் வாக்கு:
குறள் 151:
அகழ்வாரைத் தாங்கும் நிலம்போலத் தம்மை
இகழ்வார்ப் பொறுத்தல் தலை.

தன்மீது குழி பறிப்போரையே தாங்குகின்ற பூமியைப் போல் தம்மை இகழ்ந்து பேசுகிறவர்களின் செயலையும் பொறுத்துக் கொள்வதே தலைசிறந்த பண்பாகும்.

மு.வ உரை:
தன்னை வெட்டுவோரையும் விழாமல் தாங்குகின்ற நிலம் போல், தம்மை இகழ்வாரையும் பொறுப்பதே தலையான பண்பாகும்.

தன்னையே தோண்டினாலும் தோண்டுபவர் விழுந்துவிடாதபடி தாங்கும் நிலம் போலத், தன்னை வார்த்தைகளால் அவமதிப்பவரையும் மதித்துப் பொறுப்பது முதன்மை அறம்.

பரிமேலழகர் உரை:
[அஃதாவது, காரணம் பற்றியாதல், மடைமையானாதல் ஒருவன் தமக்கு மிகை செய்தவழித் தாமும் அதனை அவன்கண் செய்யாது பொறுத்தலை உடையராதல். நெறியின் நீங்கிய செய்தாரையும் பொறுக்க வேண்டும் என்றற்கு, இரு பிறன்இல் விழையாமையின் பின் வைக்கப்பட்டது.)



அகழ்வாரைத் தாங்கும் நிலம் போல-தன்னை அகழ்வாரை வீழாமல் தாங்கும் நிலம் போல; தம்மை இகழ்வார்ப் பொறுத்தல் தலை-தம்மை அவமதிப்பாரைப் பொறுத்தல் தலையாய அறம். (இகழ்தல்; மிகையாயின செய்தலும் சொல்லுதலும்).
மணக்குடவர் உரை:
தன்னை யகழ்வாரைத் தரிக்கின்ற நிலம்போலத் தம்மை யிகழுபவர்களைப் பொறுத்தல் தலைமையாம். இது பொறுத்தானென் றிகழ்வாரில்லை; அதனைத் தலைமையாகக் கொள்வார் உலகத்தாரென்றது.
Translation:
As earth bears up the men who delve into her breast,
To bear with scornful men of virtues is the best.
Explanation:
To bear with those who revile us, just as the earth bears up those who dig it, is the first of virtues..

கண்ணில்லாவிடினும் அவர் கற்றவராக இருப்பின் கண்ணுடையவராகவே கருதப்படுவார். கல்லாதவருக்குக் கண் இருப்பினும் அது புண் என்றே கருதப்படும்.

குறள் 400:
கேடில் விழுச்செல்வம் கல்வி யொருவற்கு
மாடல்ல மற்றை யவை.

கல்வி ஒன்றே அழிவற்ற செல்வமாகும். அதற்கொப்பான சிறந்த செல்வம் வேறு எதுவும் இல்லை.
மு.வ உரை:
ஒருவனுக்கு அழிவு இல்லாத சிறந்த செல்வம் கல்வியே ஆகும், கல்வியைத் தவிர மற்றப் பொருள்கள் (அத்தகைய சிறப்புடைய) செல்வம் அல்ல.

குறிப்பு:- இங்கு மாடு என்ற சொல் செல்வம் என்ற பொருளில் வள்ளுவரால் கையாளப்பட்டுள்ளது.
அந்தணர் மாடு என்று வேதத்தைக் குறிப்பிடுவர்.
எனவே அந்தணர்கான கல்வி என்பது வேதமும் சாஸ்த்ரமும் ஆகிய இரண்டும் ஆகும்.
இவ்விரண்டும் இல்லாத அந்தணர்கள் (வேறு எதைக் கற்றிருந்தாலும்) அவர்கள் முகத்தில் இருப்பது கண் அல்ல புண் என்றே அறியவேண்டும்.

HH Srimad Andavan will have Sethu snanam and Mangalasasanam during his short stay at Thiruppullani.
Normally we have to adjust to the sowkaryams of our Acharyan. But, as our HH is always showing his kaarunyam and vathsalyam towards the sishyas, HH this time adjusts to the convenience of the sishyas who may be here during his stay at Thiruppullani. Kindly do not miss this great opportunity. Sethu snanam itself is visesham, that too along with Acharyan is still more visesham. Again sethu snanam alongwith Acharyan during malaya paksham can be a very very rare occasion not to be missed at all. So please arrange your trip on any one of the day.

கர்த்தாவுக்காக கர்மாவே ஒழிய, கர்மாவுக்காக கர்த்தா அல்ல!
அதாவது கர்த்தாவை முன்னிட்டு கர்மா விதிக்கப்படுகிறது.

மேனேஜர் வேலைக்கு நிர்ணயித்தவர்:
ரிடையர் ஆகிவிட்டாலோ, பணியில் இல்லாதபோதோ, திடீரென்று தவறிவிட்டாலோ,
பொறுப்பு அடுத்தடுத்த ஸ்தானத்தில் உள்ளவர்களுக்குத் தன்னடைவே செல்கிறது.

இங்கு, இறந்தவரைப் பொறுத்தவரை,
ரிடையர் ஆகிவிட்டவர் எனக் கொள்ளலாம்.
தன் காலத்தில் செவ்வனே பணியாற்றி ஓய்வுபெற்ற அவருக்குக் கிடைக்கவேண்டிய பயன்கள் யாவும்
அவருக்குப் பின் அவரின் பொறுப்பை யார் ஏற்றாலும்,
பொறுப்பின்றி அப்படியே விட்டுவிட்டாலும்,
அவருக்குக் கிடைக்கவேண்டிய நியாயமான எந்தப் பயனும் கிட்டாமல் போகாது!

If many persons availble in the same category then elder by age should gets preference without checking the mother's side or father's side.

Tharpanam DOUBTS

Respected Swamins,
Though it is advised that Mahalaya tharpanam is to be avoided on Tuesday, Friday and Saturday, and on the day of the janma nakshatram of self, son or wife, I understand that if on these days, gajachayai or maha bharani falls, then there is no such restrictions. Kindly correct me if I am wrong.
