Jata Parayanam in Rg Vedam and Krishna Yajur Vedam is going to be held in the immediate presence of Mahaperiyava at Srimatam, with 16 well versed Veda Panditas on the occasion of Sri Kamakshi Varshika Brahmotsavam. This is from Feb 5 through Feb 17, 2014.

Kamakshi Darshan to Mahaperiyava
A picture from the ongoing brahmotsavams at Sri Kamakshi temple. As per sampradayam, Ambal makes a visit to Sri Matam on one of the days where she stays put for the entire day and is offered several upacharams, including new vastrams, abharanams, pushpa, phala samarpanam, etc. The attached picture is taken while She is giving darshanam to Mahaperiyava at His Brindavana Sannidhi.
